When you contact us about hunting in any of our locations, we know what we’re talking about. We’re not trying to toot our own trumpets here. We make it a point to actually hunt with every single one of our outfitters before we send you there. In fact, we hunt with most of our outfitters every year. This is so that we can film for I Am Hunter, catch up with our guides and just make sure that everything is still running smoothly. At the end of the day, we want to know that you are going to have an amazing experience when you go on your trip – the only way we can be sure of this is to actually experience it for ourselves. So if you have any questions about any of our hunts, don’t hesitate to ask.
Our hunting packages all include guide and trophy fees, accommodation and meals for the duration of the hunt, as well as field preparation of your trophies (unless otherwise specified).
Educational Hunting Packages
“You are doing nothing for the future of hunting if you leave the next generation at home.” – Steven Rinella, MeatEater.
This doesn’t stop with our children. We recognise that the hunting tradition will only continue into the future if we share our knowledge with others. This is why we offer educational hunting packages. We teach you everything you need to know to get started on your hunting journey.
Some of the things you can learn on our educational hunts:
- Firearms safety basics
- Where to aim your shot on different animal species
- The different styles of hunting e.g. blind, spot and stalk.
- Field dressing your animal (skinning, gutting, caping)
- Quartering and butchering your own meat
- Field preparation of your trophy for the taxidermist
You can learn to hunt with us in any of our hunting locations and you don’t need to have a current firearms license (except in Australia). Please see the page for the location you would like to hunt for more information on these courses. You can also contact us for more information.
